Face 2 Face

Released on May 15, 2004, Face 2 Face is the monumental debut solo album by Nigerian superstar Innocent Ujah Idibia, better known then as 2Face Idibia (and now 2Baba). Arriving shortly after the disbandment of his R&B group Plantashun Boiz, the album didn’t just launch his solo career, it acted as a cultural reset that helped blueprint the modern Afrobeats movement.
