Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, professionally known as Kizz Daniel (formerly Kiss Daniel), is an awardwinning Nigerian singer and songwriter widely regarded as one of the pioneers of contemporary Afropop and Afrobeats.

Early Life and Education
Born on May 1, 1994, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, Kizz Daniel began writing songs at the age of 11. He attended the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), graduating in 2013 with a degree in Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology. During his time at university, he actively pursued music alongside his engineering studies.

Breakthrough and Rise to Stardom
Kizz Daniel’s professional career launched in 2013 when he signed with G-Worldwide Entertainment. He achieved national fame in 2014 with his breakout hit “Woju”, an infectious mid tempo Afropop track that spent weeks at the top of the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 chart. He quickly solidified his star status with follow up hits like “Laye” and his critically acclaimed 2016 debut album, New Era.

Flyboy Inc. and Global Reach
In late 2017, following a publicized contract dispute, Kizz Daniel departed G-Worldwide and founded his own independent record label, Flyboy Inc. He rebranded from “Kiss Daniel” to “Kizz Daniel” shortly after.

Operating under his own imprint, he has built a reputation for consistency, often praised by fans as having “no bad songs”. He has released several successful albums and EPs, including “No Bad Songz” (2018), “King of Love” (2020) and “Barnabas” (2021). In 2022, his smash hit “Buga” became a massive global phenomenon, heavily dominating streaming charts and social media platforms worldwide.
